User Reviews

We have finally replaced our old analog TVs with streamlined little flat screens. These are perfect for bedroom, kitchen or other spots where you want something small. The DVD player is just a bonus. We decided that if the first one we ordered was good, we would order another....because you just can't beat the price or the reputation of the manufacturer. The sound works fine, but we need to turn it up more than one would expect....which really isn't a problem. I would recommend this make and model to anyone interested. -- Liked it so much we bought 2!
I have this TV in my kitchen/breakfast room and it is the perfect size. It has the combo DVD player built in so that it doesn't take up more space where space is limited and I can use it for cooking show dvds! I will soon be replacing the TV in the guest room and I think I may buy another one of these for that space! -- Great Little TV
This is a great compact HD TV/dvd player.
It is perfect for an office or kitchen.
The image is clear, the sound is good. -- The perfect kitchen TV
Purchased as Amazon Deal of the Day and was not smart enough to open & use immediately! Waited until 30 days returned window was closed. The TV lost sound and power so called for repair. I live in Colorado and need to ship to Mass for repair. The TV is junk and a real hassle to get it ready for shipment and they ask for everything in order to fix a cheap TV. Also, found that the TV is a 2008 model purchased in 2010. No more Deals of the Day for me! -- Worked for 1 day
Great TV if you hook it up to cable. This TV will not pick up all the channels with over the air antenna. Tried to scan all the over air programs and would only scan three fourths of the way which gave me only half of the channels that I normally receive. All my other TV's including a 9 inch will get all the channels with this same connection. Called customer service and got no satisfaction on the issue from them. I hooked it up to a digital box that I had and will have to use it that way. This TV must have a weak tuner or I just happened to get a bad one. -- Antenna reception

if it doesn't charge its very simple i have a Satellite but no led on the power cord anyways i left the part of the cord where it comes apart you know plugged up and in the wall but it fits both ways even though it is polarized and it overheated and stopped working so you need to get a new charger from toshiba most likely as that's what i did and it works great now just always check it after 30 minutes and make sure its not to hot if it is unplug it till it cools down and plug it back in the other way and you can leave it plugged in as long as you like it will not matter…

Most colleges don't supply a microwave, but chances are that one of the roommates brought one.

Cookies are always wonderful! Also, hot chocolate/coffee/tea, money always works, or a gift card to a fast food/sit down restaurant in the area are great!

I don't know. It doesn't appeal to me very much, though I wouldn't mind having a small section to use for rolling out pastry.

I would think that for a small hand held device a 4:3 screen would still be best. Take your pick on the size that suits the situation. I would think an 8 or 10 inch diag. would be a good choice for an auto. 16:9 would be seem to be kinda wierd for a mobile device and would have to display a 4:3 picture most of the time anyway.

That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

It should be good! A small screen will keep your computer running longer too. You'd only want a large one if you were into video/image editing. Look at the current screen resolution and (if possible) get a copy of Visual Studio running to take a look at what space you'd have left to work with. As long as you have plenty of typing space with everything else in the way, you're good.

My parents are still using a 15" desktop at home, and they seem happy. Que sera sera.

At some campuses, a double room means a room with two people in it. A double suite means two adjoining rooms with a bathroom in between. Most of these have two people in each room, so four people share a bathroom.

You might try to search on the university website to find the floorplans for these dorms. That should give you a better idea of what each type is.

Keep your private and confidential information that way no matter how busy the office is or where your desk is. This 19 inch widescreen Flat Panel Privacy Filter allows only those directly in front of the screen to see the display. Just what you need to keep those nosy co workers out of your affairs.

The games that a NTSC system will support is American, Canadian, Japanese, Russian and Chinese games. The game should work on your Wii and you will not need to get your Wii "chipped" or "modded". The Wii's region code would be "Region 2" and it's format would be "NTSC".
