The filter is probably not designed to be cleaned, unless it is a K&N. Throw out the filter and buy a new one.

Maybe because they feel safe. I have a kitten who crawls under my blankets and sleeps there. Sometimes I think she can't breathe because of how it feels when I am under the covers so when I pull the blanket a little back so she can have fresh air, she always seems disturbed. They also jump in any empty shoe box or something. Or maybe they just want the lights out but the owners aren't doing it so they do it for themselves lol

Sometimes the bottom elements get dirty from drips and such.
This will eventually burn off, but until then, it won't be as bright, or as hot.
Is it an older model?
The elements will burn out in time.
I would purchase an oven thermometer to make sure your temperature is accurate.
Otherwise, your food won't cook evenly or thoroughly.

If it is under your bed and there is an inch or two of space above the amp, you should be ok. If your bed is right on top of the amp and blocking the vents, that would not be good. You might try raising the bed a bit somehow.

A 2:1 RF splitter is probably good enough, but for more than two, an RF distribution amp would be better. Radio Shack sells them for around $30. Make sure you've got service for your computer as it has to have an IP address to access the internet. TV isn't so critical as long as you're willing to settle for basic service. Once they go all digital, though (not until AFTER 2012 at least), it's a different story.
