This item was returned unopened and I was never credited on my account. An error was made on my computer and was never meant to order this. I know that when I pulled my ear buds out of the package only 1 worked. I am leary now of actually plugging my Kindle into the chargers for fear it may blow it up. -- Not sure
The clear screen cover did not fit properly, just a little too big. Had to discard. I havn't used the auto plug cord as yet. -- Not overly enthused
I would have appreciated knowing that the car charger with the usb port required me to acquire an attachment for my older model car that has a regular cigarette lighter that does not have a usb port attachment. The screen protector is useful but the sticker it came with does not remove easily. -- kindle car charger

Could somebody please help me with my new headset and speakers?
Okay, so I bought these new headphones equipped with a microphone from Best Buy, along with new speakers for my e-machine running on Windows XP. I accidentally destroyed my speakers with a headphone for my Rosetta Stone program, and so I got this new headset as a result. For some reason, neither the headset nor the speakers work even though I’ve followed all of the instructions as to how to install them and everything. The only instructions there were for the headset were to plug the two little prongs into the sound card, one for the microphone and the other for the headphones. It doesn’t work. The speakers are an insignia 2.0 powered speakers and the headset is a plantronics audio 355. The headset is supposed to work for speech recognition software along with phone calls over the internet and stuff like that. Could somebody please hep me?
Yes some textbooks are available in the Kindle store, but then you still have to eat the cost of the Kindle itself. Also I always worry about something like that getting broken. Textbooks are one thing for sure – durable. If the price is what's so enticing for you, you should try ordering your textbooks online. I always use They are a textbook search engine that searches all the online retailers to find you the best prices. It's pretty cool actually.

Read actual books! Because, what if you run out of battery, will you just have to stop reading? With actual books, you can read for however long you want. And what if something goes wrong with the Kindle, like it breaks or something? With actual books, you can't "break" a book, you can tear a page but you can just tape it back.
Books are meant to be read on paper, not a screen. That's how it always has been until the invention of e-books which are silly. Don't we people get enough screens and buttons in our lives? Why must we read books on screens, that's like the only thing left that people read on paper. Hell, even newspapers are starting to go down because people read the news on their computers.
It doesn't count to read a book on a screen and call yourself an avid reader. I think it would be sad to see books totally die out so please, can you help keep books alive by not buying an e-book? Please?
